“Breaking the Chain, Get Free from Bondage”

Being set free from bondage

Let’s be real about it, we have all been in bondage, some of us still are.  That bondage is a variety of things in our everyday lives. It can be jealousy, alcohol, drugs, grief, hate, fornication, and more that keeps you separated from the love and legacy of God. We can do several things that can get us out of this bondage, however, the most important things is to go to God so he can guide you out of that that is keeping you from where you should be.  Don’t be scared; don’t be discouraged, you are not alone.  One thing I will suggest here is to wear the full Armor of God each day as it will help you overcome when the enemy tries to attack you as you are trying to break through being in bondage.

Read and study Ephesians 6:10-18 it states: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” These verses are known as the fight to the finish.  So I say to you fight that fight and don’t give up until you come out victorious at the end.

Read and meditate on these scriptures below as they will help you on your path.

Psalm 2:3 “Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”

Proverbs 29:25 “Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. “

1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

James 1:2-6 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.”

1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”

James 4:7 “Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

1 Cor 3:16-17 “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple.”

Proverbs 19:23 “The fear of the Lord leads to life: Then one rests content, untouched by trouble.”

1 John 2:15-17 “Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. “

Matt 7:7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Galatians 6:7-8 “A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.”

1 Corinthians 3:11 “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

It is time for you to allow God to break you free from your chain(s) of bondage and put you on the pathway to freedom.  If you are not sure if you can do this alone, then get you an accountability partner.  That partner must be someone that is going to hold you to what you are trying to accomplish, they are on the path you are striving to get to, they are someone that will get in your face when you are slipping and tell you that you are wrong and what you need to do to get back on track, and someone that is going to be there for you from the beginning to the end.  This person must be also of the same gender, that way a strong man want lead a weak woman and vice versa.

My prayer is that this helps someone be set free from something today and know that no matter what they can always go to their Father for help.  God loves you and want the best for you so let him.

GOD Bless You Much Love Minister Clara Peters
