I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.
The Lord’s Answer
Then the Lord replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
As you read these three verses you will see that in verse one you must listen, while in verse two you must write, and in verse three you must wait.
Here we see a question by Habakkuk being answered by God. When we have a question we should do just as it states here, we should write it down and wait to the appointed time as God will whisper in our ear to let it be known the time is now my child. I must say that we will have to be patient as the answer will come in God’s timing not our timing. We must trust and know that God has our best interest at heart.
When God gives it to you it will be worth the wait in so many ways so I say this again wait patiently for the answer to your vision. While you are patiently going through the process he is taking you through take the time to do the following;
- Write that vision
- Work on what it is you want within that vision
- Pray while waiting on the answer
- Prepare yourself for what God is going to do for you within this vision
- Put a plan of action in place while waiting
And know that when that appointed time comes it will speak volume as when God promises you something it is like making a large deposit into your bank account. Some of you reading this is in that waiting period right now, don’t get discourage as he is going to deliver that promise to you.
Continue to serve him as you are waiting, read, pray, and meditate on his word daily.
